Do you know a better way to learn a language than speaking? We learn lots of words but then when we have to speak… it’s so difficult! Words don’t come to our minds and it is like we had become mutes!

This year, with the aim of solving this problem, we have started speaking lessons with the older primary pupils (PR05 and PR06), once a week. In order to work better and with the idea that all of the kids can participate, we are splitting the class in two groups and we will have another teacher.

For one day a week, we close our books, we stand up and we speak, like in real life: opinions, discussions and a bit of theater. We stop being embarrassed and that’s a lot of fun! Today, for example, our classroom was like a market. After introducing the shopping vocabulary, we became assistants and costumers. We took off our overalls and we started asking for prices, sizes and trying on hats and bracelets!
